Orangewood Independent Grant

Up to $500 per fiscal year (July 1st – June 30th) to assist with groceries, personal hygiene items, work/training expenses, bicycle for school/work transportation, some medical/dental/vision expenses, and other miscellaneous living expenses. For those who are prepared to get their CA Driver’s License, up to an additional $500 may be available for driving school. See the Independent Grant Guidelines and Instructions. Funding is not guaranteed and conditions may apply.
The Independent Grant for this year is NOW CLOSED due to funding constraints. Guidelines are available to review now in preparation for the next application period opening July 1st, 2024.
NOTE: The grant requirements have been updated. A specific request must be included on the application, if you are requested reimbursement the receipt must be included and if you are requested assistance paying an item a flyer/image of items or invoice must be included.
